Your data — products, categories, settings, and account — is yours. Here’s exactly how long it’s kept in every scenario.

Free plan

Your data is never deleted on the free plan. There’s no billing and no expiry — your catalog stays intact as long as your Shopify store is active.

Paused accounts

When you pause a Season Pass or Annual subscription, your data is kept for up to 2 years. We’ll send you reminder emails before the 2-year mark so you have time to reactivate or export your data. Reactivate anytime before the 2-year mark and your catalog is exactly as you left it.

Cancelled accounts (manual cancellation)

After cancelling, you have a 30-day grace window where your data is still accessible and you can reactivate. After 30 days, your account and all data are permanently deleted.

Lapsed accounts (failed payment)

If a payment fails and your subscription lapses, your data is kept for 90 days. This gives you time to update your payment method in Shopify and reactivate. After 90 days, data is deleted.

Exporting your data

Before cancelling or letting a subscription lapse, export your product catalog from Products → Export CSV. This gives you a backup you can re-import if you ever start fresh.
