If you lose signal at market, Shopify POS will not be able to process payments until your connection is restored.

If you lose signal

  1. Check that cellular data is enabled on your phone (not accidentally switched to airplane mode)
  2. Move to a location with better signal if possible
  3. Connect to a mobile hotspot from another device
  4. Once reconnected, you can continue selling normally — no data is lost

Before market day

Set yourself up for success before you leave:
  • Confirm you have signal at your usual market location
  • Bring a portable hotspot or enable your phone’s hotspot as a backup
  • Run a test sale at home on WiFi before your first market day

Sync your catalog before you go

If you edited products before market, open PopUp once on WiFi and tap Settings → Sync Now to push those changes to your device before you leave.
