Every PopUp product is one of two types:

Weight

You enter the weight at the time of sale. PopUp calculates the price automatically (weight × price per unit). When to use: Fresh produce, cheese, honey sold by weight, bulk grains, herbs — anything priced by how much it weighs. Units supported: lbs, oz, kg, g Example: Heirloom Tomatoes at 4.50/lb.Customerbuys0.82lbs→PopUpadds4.50/lb. Customer buys 0.82 lbs → PopUp adds 3.69 to the cart.

Item

A flat price per item. Tap to add to the cart — no weight entry needed. When to use: Pre-packaged goods, eggs by the dozen, jars with a fixed price, add-ons. Example: Raw Honey 8oz at 12.00.Taponce→12.00. Tap once → 12.00 added to the cart.

Mixing types in one transaction

You can add weight and item products in the same cart. Each appears as a separate line item at checkout.

Changing the type

You can switch a product’s type when editing it. Note: switching from Weight to Item clears the unit setting.
