If you’re taking a seasonal break, consider pausing instead:- Pause — billing stops, data kept for 2 years, resume anytime
- Cancel — subscription ends, data deleted after a 30-day grace window

How to cancel
- In the Shopify Admin, open PopUp and go to Subscription
- Tap Cancel subscription
- Confirm
What happens after you cancel
During the 30-day grace window:- You keep full access to your catalog in the Shopify Admin
- The POS tile stops working for new sales
- You can reactivate within this window to restore everything
- Your account and all data (products, categories, settings) are permanently deleted
- This cannot be undone
Cancelling due to a failed payment
If your subscription lapses due to a failed payment (not a manual cancel), your data is kept for 90 days to give you time to update your payment method and reactivate.Your data
