Who can pause
Pausing is available on Season Pass and Annual plans. Free plan accounts don’t need to pause — the free plan has no billing to stop.How to pause
- In the Shopify Admin, open PopUp and go to Subscription
- Tap Pause subscription
- Confirm
What happens when you pause
- PopUp stays fully active until the end of your current billing cycle
- At the end of the cycle, billing stops and the PopUp POS tile goes inactive
- Your products and categories are preserved
- Your data is kept for up to 2 years from the pause date

How to resume after a pause
Pausing vs. cancelling
Pause — data kept for 2 years, resume anytime. Season Pass pauses at end of billing cycle; Annual pauses at end of annual term. Cancel — ends the subscription permanently. Data is deleted after a 30-day grace window. If there’s any chance you’ll come back next season, pause instead of cancel.Cancelling
