# Tile customization

> Customize the look of product and category tiles in POS.

Each product and category can have a custom tile — a color background with a flat cartoon illustration. Tiles appear in the PopUp POS browser to help you find items quickly.

## Customizing a product tile

Open any product and scroll to the **Tile** section:

1. Pick a background color from the color grid
2. Pick an illustration from the library
3. Tap **Generate**
4. Tap **Save** on the product to keep it

## Customizing a category tile

Open any category and use the same Tile section to add a color and illustration.

## Tile library

The built-in library includes illustrations for common farmers market products: vegetables, fruit, dairy, honey, eggs, herbs, bread, and more. New artwork is added periodically.

## Tips

* Use consistent colors per category (e.g. all Vegetables in green tones) for faster scanning
* Tiles are optional — products without a tile show the product name on a plain background
* You can change or remove a tile at any time by editing the product or category
