# Opening the app

> Get PopUp ready before the first sale of the day.

## Before you leave for market

1. Open the Shopify Admin and go to **Settings → Sync Now** to push your latest catalog to the POS tile
2. Make sure your phone has a reliable cellular data connection or access to a hotspot — PopUp requires internet to process sales
3. Confirm you have signal at your market location before the first sale

## Opening PopUp at market

1. Open the **Shopify POS** app on your phone
2. Tap the **PopUp** tile on the POS home screen
3. Your product catalog loads — tap any product to start a sale

If this is your first time opening PopUp, it will sync your catalog from the internet. This takes a few seconds and requires a connection.

## No tile on the POS home screen?
