# Editing a category

> Update a category's name or tile.

## Edit a category

1. In the Shopify Admin, open PopUp and go to **Categories**
2. Tap the category you want to edit
3. Update the name or tile
4. Tap **Save**

Changes sync to the POS browser automatically.

## Renaming a category

Renaming a category updates the tab label in POS. Products assigned to this category stay assigned — the association is by ID, not name.
