# Customizing your tiles

> Add artwork and colors to make products easy to identify in POS.

Each product can have a custom tile — a color background with an illustration. Tiles appear in the POS product browser and make it faster to find items at a glance.

## Adding a tile to a product

When adding or editing a product:

1. Scroll to the **Tile** section
2. Pick a background color from the color grid
3. Pick an artwork (tomatoes, cheese, honey jar, etc.)
4. Tap **Generate** — a preview appears
5. Tap **Save** to save all the product details

The tile is saved with the product and shown in the PopUp catalog.

## Upload your own image (Shopify Admin only)

Both products and categories allow you to upload your own image for the tile:

1. In Shopify Admin, open PopUp
2. Open the category or product
3. In the Product Thumbnail section, choose a file from your PC or enter the URL of the image you want to upload. The image will display in the preview tile.
4. Tap **Save** to save the product

## Category Tiles

PopUp includes a library of artwork for common farmers market products. If you don't see what you need, you can upload your own or leave the tile blank — the product name appears instead.

## Tips

* Use distinct colors for different categories — makes scanning faster at market
* You can change a tile anytime by editing the product
